The Lust List

I don’t know about you all, but it’s been a pretty crazy couple of weeks for me. Between classes starting and all the madness surrounding increasing rates of Covid-19 at universities, this semester is already quite trying… and it’s only week four! All that being said, I thought I’d do something more lighthearted with this week’s post.

Here are the top three sustainable fashion pieces that I’m currently lusting after:

1.     E.L.V. Denim Mid Blue Match Boyfriend Jean

I’ve gushed over this brand before and I just love their zero-waste production strategy. Not to mention I’m a HUGE denim fam, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that these jeans are at the top of my lust list.

2.     GANNI Rubber City Boots

GANNI has always been on the forefront of the sustainable fashion movement. In fact, on its website, there’s a whole section dedicated to “Responsible Materials.” These chunky, rubber boots are made from 50% pre-consumer recycled rubber! (Self-plug! Check out my last blog post on GANNI x Levi’s “Love Letter” Collection).

3.     Baum und Pfergarten Baana Pullover

I only really discovered Baum und Pfergarten over the last year or so and man, I was missing out! Founded in Copenhagen in 1999, it is one of the leading Danish fashion houses. Similar to GANNI, Baum und Pfergarten works to create pieces that consider both the consumer and the planet. The Baana Pullover is composed of 50% recycled wool, 40% recycled polyester and 10% other fibers. Baum und Pfergarten also has a “Responsible Styles” section on its website so you can make sure you’re shopping with the planet in mind!

That’s all from me for this week everyone! I hope that you’re all doing well, staying safe and finding at least a little bit of time to relax and reset.

Bye for now,

McGee
